What we’re looking for

The Zinier North America Revenue team is responsible for creating and managing mutually beneficial customer relationships in the United States and Canada. Using industry best practices and a solution-oriented approach, the Revenue team leverages existing relationships and creates new ones to drive meaningful business engagements with customers. We work closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Experience to deliver amazing results.

The Senior Account Executive, Mid Market - Energy will be responsible for developing productive relationships with Mid-Market accounts in the Oil & Gas, Utility, and Renewable Energy space. The Mid Market team handles leads generated by the Marketing and Sales Development teams and turns them into meaningful opportunities. Mid Market Account Executive iss a quota carrying role.

Role Responsibilities

  • Take scheduled meetings arranged by Marketing / Sales Development teams within region and area of focus to deepen customer conversations
  • Navigate accounts to find key stakeholders, decision makers, influences, users, etc and liaison with Sales Engineering to deliver a complete solution
  • Manage a high volume of opportunities simultaneously
  • Manage relationships and opportunities within SalesForce
  • Work with Customer Success to drive growth within won accounts as needed
  • Become the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Zinier solution within the marketplace.

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, and excellent understanding of foundational principles of solution selling
  • Excellent work ethic, willingness to get in front of customers and make things happen
  • Refuse to lose attitude, experience overcoming objections from B2B customers
  • Willingness to travel extensively if required
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
